- Stint 1 Patrick 6:00 PM GMT: First stint which begins well and which ends badly since after most runs in 2.37" as scheduled, Patrick lost the control of the car after a bump from the car behind in 31 th laps. With 2 front flat tyres it was difficult to join the pit. It was done, and Rafa takes his stint at the 31 laps. But the last Patrick's lap lasted 6 minutes which gives us a first handicap. Race very hard due to too much difference in speedwith GT1 and GT2 which means sometimes 4-5 blue flags in the same lap and never a clear lap. We 're still on track and have fun, the most important. After seeing the replay , it s not a bump but the front left tyre exploding which made Patrick lost control (this game is too much). In the middle of the stunt Patrick was victim of a bump from a GT car which may be explains the tyre exploded several laps later.
- Stint 2 Rafa 7:30 PM GMT Difficult stint for Rafa with all those blue flags. Not easy to have a quiet lap. He also had problems with tyres on 58 th lap with one exploding. He succeeded in joining the pits and Patrick took the car.
- Stint 3 Patrick 9:10 PM GMT Patrick had a very good stint with laps in 2.37 and some 2.36 but once again a front tyre exploded in the same turn as in his previous stint. It was ine the 92 th lap. He took the decision to change the front tyre for R3 instead of R2. Rafa has taken the car now. Let's hope tyres problem is fixed. However Patrick was stuck in the sand and had to come back directly to the garage with may be a penalty. The live tracker can't give our position. It records data but can't show the ranking. It's simply, absolutely GROOVY !
- Stint 4 Rafa 5 Patrick 10:30 PM GMT 2:00 AM GMT With change of tyre things are better. We put L4/R3 instead of L3/R2 and we don't drive anymore a nuclear bomb. Difficult to say where we are in the ranking but Patrick and Rafa do their job well. Rafa succeeds to drive regularly in 2.37 like Patrick which even succeeds to make one laps under 2.36.
- Stint 6 Rafa 2:00 AM GMT Rafa has again problem of tyres at the end of the stint. Patrick very tired after a stint of 55 laps has probably forgotten to change the type of tyre before his pit.
- Stint 7 Fabio 3:15 AM GMT Our secret weapon is on the track. No more than one lap before Fabio finds his marks. 2.35 is his average lap time and he wins positions lap after lap.
- Stint 8 Rafa 4:20 AM GMT Rafa is back for his last stint. Good job guy. He as been awake all the night...Patrick is asleep for a little while and Fabio is ready to open fire ! Rafa do his job well as usual.
- Stint 9 Fabio 5:40 AM GMT Fabio back on the track and the lap times fall. Good stint on the way.
- Stint 10 Patrick 6:45 AM GMT Patrick comes back for his last stint, a big one to let Fabio finish at full speed for the last 1h30. Too mudh fuel for this stint and the lap time falls to 2.41 instead of 2.37 in previuos stints. However, race is close to end and it's really a great fun to drive one's last laps in this legendary race.
- Stint 11 Fabio 8:30 AM GMT back on the track and with less fuel 2.36 and 2.37 are back. Beautiful end of race with a tough fight in the last half hour between Fabio and D.Gerholdt. Fabio crossed the finish line of those 16 Hours of Kyoto.
A wonderful experience with 3 super drivers. We enjoyed so much this week end and this race with absolutely no technical problem of connection. Thank you LFS for giving us a so strong netcode. No disco, no problem with drivers swap during these 16 Hours.
Never seen that in other famous simracing games.
Even if with a functionnal ranking it would be more enjoyable, even if more prepared and with a better car we would be probably more competitive, this Race will remain in the L2R Legend and drivers will remember for ever this week end ...and the babes too!
Now the surprise will be the ranking as soon as we'll get it.
Thank you Rafa and Fabio for these moments and....
...Groovy Baby Yeaaah !!
