Okay, cool. Just a sidenote: I think you can't Alt-Tab safely with this mod.

That's why, with this rule of notification you won't have to do Alt Tab/

Hello,

It seems that damage settings on the server are so high that the engine dies with 10kph collision front first! In a 911! :)

That will cause many many escapes. Not good is it?

I looked inside the files today and i wonder whether the 10% you talked about are not referring to the AIGrip parameter. In this case using avons won't change anything since this parameter is the gip for AI.

This parameter is used to make AI more skilled. That's why sometimes you find them really fast in sectors you can't do the same even being an alien

Could you try these tires and tell me if you think it's an improvement for you.

On saturday we will have a new and important test race.

The primary objectives of this test are

    - # Testing L2RES
    - # Testing swaps
    - # Testing dynamic skin loading

Main changes compared to the previous test are

Race

    - Damage 75%
    - Tires 1X (Fuel 2X Time 2X)
    - Only one car of each team on track.

Track

    - Night Latitude 24

Cars

    - Skins received included
    - All Cars Differenciate Times repair-fuel..
    - Dallara and Europa Pit menu 80L Fuel Fixed
    - Dallara and Europa fuel consumption decreased
    - All Cars BrakewearRate=0 (advice of the authors of the mod)
    - Veh Dallara 28-36 switched
    - Class Appears

Driving rules
If you press escape you have to notify your escape use by mentionning "Escape required" in the ingame (rF) chat. Prepare a shortkey for that.

IMPORTANT:
Swaps have to be tested, especially for high pings, during this week before the race.
If you have freeze problem you will have to test the BMW named SWAP TEST (#880)
and report feedback if it fixes your problem.

I will compare with the Lotus and Fiat in the test race but I heard that the Porsche will need several more pitstops compared to them now.

Can I get a reply to my 'damage' question some posts above this?

I've just tried the new corvette physics, the new car is about 1.5s slower than the old one. The front tyres just don't stick anymore. I'm down about 5km/h through each corner.

For better accuracy this is not a change in Corvette physics but a change in pm file of Kiwis cars (both Vette and Escort) to allow swap with no freeze.

Other Corvettes or Escorts of other Teams are not concerned as long as they don't ask me for a solution to their high pings swaps freezes.

Investigation is in progress to see if we can find the madgical parameter which makes this pm file so precious. Not sure anyone can find it.

If we can find it, we could change this only one parameter in the original pm file of your car and it wouldn't change the physics of your car as much as the

current solutin changes them.

On the logistics page for the new patch it says 'Before installation better to delete the old L2RES76 folder inside hictoric gt vehicles folder '.

Is this true or just let it overwrite the existing files?
